The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE) drifts south in an adventurous collaboration with flamenco greats: vocalist David Lagos and dancer Úrsula López.  

Programme

Works by Florian Maier, Tino van der Sman and others 

The fiery soul of flamenco meets the flamboyant power of the Dutch wind ensemble in a programme that both embraces tradition and treads new musical paths. 

With composers Florian Maier and Tino van der Sman, NBE adds a new dimension to the essence of flamenco: Florian merges flamenco with metal and classical music, while Tino pushes the boundaries with his atonal flamenco.  

Together with David and Úrsula, living embodiments of flamenco, NBE sets out on an adventure. In this scintillating performance full of passion, contradictions and fire, they stoke the flames of flamenco to burn brighter than ever before.
