Breathtaking concert by Bach Collegium Japan

6 February 2025, retrospect

On Saturday 1 February we proudly welcomed the Bach Collegium Japan to a sold-out Concert Hall in Amare. This world-famous baroque orchestra conducted by Masato Suzuki provided a beautiful programme with Mozart's Requiem.

The programme featured not only the heartbreakingly beautiful Requiem, made famous by the last scene of the film Amadeus, but also Mozart's well-known Symphony No. 40 and the beautiful choral work Ave Verum Corpus.

In addition to many enthusiastic visitors, we were also able to welcome H.E. Minami Horisho, the Japanese Ambassador, and several members of his staff to the audience.

We are still speechless. Let’s look back for a moment with the photos by © Wouter Vellekoop
