String quartets

Strings that hit a nerve

Four bows, sixteen strings, one sound. To see a string quartet perform is to witness something truly special. The four musicians are perfectly attuned to one another, aware of the smallest details, ready to respond to even the subtlest of cues from their fellow musicians. In this series, Amare presents three concerts by the most prominent string quartets that our country can boast: the Matangi Quartet, the Hermitage Quartet and the Ragazze Quartet.
