Each year, we strive to offer a top-notch programme, with a focus on artistic innovation, craftsmanship and quality. With our concerts, performances and activities we aim to inspire and connect. We also want to be accessible for each and every inhabitant of The Hague.

What are you contributing to?
Your Amare Friends contribution supports Stichting Podium van de Stad. This foundation helps to make outstanding (international) programmes possible in Amare.
The foundation lets us bring unforgettable productions to The Hague or The Netherlands that might otherwise not be possible. Thanks to your support, we can also make these kinds of productions more accessible to a wide audience. In this way you contribute to our mission of being a cultural venue for everyone.
In the past, Stichting Podium van de Stad allocated gifts to a number of projects, among others:
- Various interactive installations as part of Open Amare, the freely accessible programme in public spaces
- The touching community project From Here On, about children seeking refuge in times of war
- GöteborgsOperans Danskompani with the unique dance performance SKID & Wild Poetry

- The international music festival for young people Big Bang Festival
- The versatile cultural festival Sacred Songs
- The sensational dance performance The Rite of Spring by Pina Bausch
- The city opera and community project Maduro
