To celebrate her first quarter century as a singer, Tania Kross and her two musical friends give a series of exclusive anniversary recitals. Tania with wings! An intimate concert with a focus on the musical highlights of her career and for her island Curaçao.

In the mid-nineties, a brave, very young Curaçao woman named Tania Kross came to the Netherlands to study singing at the conservatory in Utrecht. She sat next to Ernst Munneke, who was studying the piano, in the lecture halls and the two immediately fell in love with each other. Their friendship grew into an internationally acclaimed musical collaboration that has now spanned 25 years. They performed all over the world. From the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to Carnegie Hall in New York.

On Curaçao, Tania sang in her brother's band. That's how she got to know the talented Randal Corsen early on. Randal also left for the Netherlands in the 1990s to study piano. Back on Curaçao, he grows into the musical brain of the island. He combines his knowledge of jazz and classical music with his love for Caribbean music and traditional instruments. He composed the opera 'Katibu di Shon' for Tania Kross. Since Tania lives in Curaçao again, they have resumed their collaboration.
