Three brothers, three uds. Samir, Wissam and Adnan have been touring the world with their uds for the past twenty years, most recently playing their highly anticipated new album The Long March. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see these virtuosos in The Hague! Tickets also give access to the concert of Nai Barghouti on the same day in Amare.

With their enchanting songs, they try to honor the struggle and oppression of indigenous peoples around the world. At the same time, they view their music as part of the Palestinian people's efforts for recognition and liberation. The three brothers form a trio, rare in ud music, and have fused and become one thanks to the ud (or Arabic lute).

The Long March

Their new record The Long March is a milestone for the band and continues to combine musical worlds with collaborations by Roger Waters and poet Mahmoud Darwish. Rock solos meet synths and Arabic verses; gloomy and beautiful, contemplative and joyful.

This program is part of Medfest. A day ticket gives access to both the Le Trio Joubran concert, the festive program in the foyer, and the Nai Barghouti concert. Tickets for Dhafer Youssef (Day II) are sold separately.
