As per tradition, the Nederlands Kamerkoor ushers in the festive season with the jubilant sounds of Bach’s Christmas masterpiece, the Weihnachts Oratorio. As NRC newspaper wrote last year, the Nederlands Kamerkoor performs the work “with the clarity of an icy wind, and crisp like snow beneath your feet”.

Johann Sebastian Bach Weihnachts-Oratorium

Every year, the Nederlands Kamerkoor teams up with another top international baroque ensemble for this special occasion. This year the honour falls to the marvellous Flemish baroque ensemble, B’Rock, led by chief conductor Peter Dijkstra. In previous years the choir worked with the Freiburger Barockorchester, Concerto Köln and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin.
