Tijd om in de kerstsfeer te komen! Op deze eerste zondag van december presenteren we een adventsconcert, en wat voor een: het vermaarde Nationale Jeugd Vrouwenkoor en sterharpiste Gwyneth Wentink in een programma dat a capella werken vanuit Finland en Scandinavië combineert met een ware kerstklassieker – A Ceremony of Carols van Benjamin Britten.

Het koor heeft een internationale reputatie verworven; optredens van de Derde van Mahler met de Berliner Philharmoniker en LA Philharmonic behoren tot de vele prestigieuze wapenfeiten. Het koor grossiert in een weergaloze – zo niet betoverende – klank die even zuiver als magisch is. Een repertoire en uitvoerders die perfect passen bij de decembermaand en de akoestiek van de Nieuwe Kerk.
