Twee unieke, muzikale persoonlijkheden komen samen: celliste, zangeres en componist Lucinda Chua en violiste Galya Bisengalieva. De avond wordt geopend door Bisengalieva met een indringende soloset. Na de pauze gaat Lucinda Chua de samenwerking aan met het 12-koppige Spaceship Extended, dat bestaat uit leden van het London Contemporary Orchestra en het Haagse Spaceship Ensemble.

Lucinda Chua: introspectieve rijkdom
Met haar cello, effectpedalen en fluisterzang schept Lucinda Chua een sfeervolle en introspectieve, muzikale wereld. Haar werk beweegt zich tussen ambient, pop, klassiek en R&B en biedt een unieke basis voor een orkestrale interpretatie. Tijdens haar set brengt Chua haar debuutalbum YIAN en de EP Reclaiming The Rose. Ze gaat de samenwerking aan met het 12-koppige Spaceship extended, dat bestaat uit leden van het London Contemporary Orchestra en het Haagse Spaceship Ensemble.

Galya Bisengalieva: moderne klanken uit Kazachstan
De Kazachse componist en violiste staat bekend om haar experimentele en sferische benadering, waarbij ze traditionele technieken combineert met elektronische invloeden. Bisengalieva werkte nauw samen met veel genreoverschrijdende artiesten zoals Moor Mother, Terry Riley, Jlin, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Thom Yorke en Actress.
