With Long Low Slow Baden you are going to land on earth!

It felt as if I was allowed to stay in the deepest depths of the earth for a short while.

Visitor of Long Low Slow Baden

An acoustic immersive installation wherein the audience is one by one invited to lay down on an inflatable positioned beneath a tree. Moving up and down, feeling your own body, slowing down and sensing gravity. This movement makes two large ceramic flutes breath out, sounding long low slow tones.

Long Long Slow Baden is an ongoing installation that two children at a time can enter, every 15 minutes or so. Children can enter this installation without parents/carers, unless that's really too much of a challenge.

BIG BANG Festival
This activity is part of the BIG BANG Festival! This international music festival is a festive ode to adventurous music and sound art for children, but of course everyone is more than welcome. During this vibrant festival, children from age 5 and up can discover music in all sorts of ways: through performances, participative activities, and much more. Many of the activities are free to visit, so be creative and compile a varied musical journey of discovery. See the full programme on this page.
