Stichting Amare manages the building and organises the programming. It fulfils the role of the spider in the web of all residents of the Amare building, the neighbours on Spuiplein and the wider cultural field. Acting in this role, Amare seeks to cultivate its bond with and roots in the city of The Hague. Amare connects and inspires people with music and dance from all cultures. Music and dance, unlike language, are human expressions that are truly universal and understood across cultures. Through educational and inclusive programmes, we introduce a broad audience to the world of the performing arts. We broaden the support base and expand our audience with new target groups.
We are able to realise these ambitions thanks to the support of various funds and foundations, and we are extremely grateful for their help. Without them, our unique activities would not be possible.
