Charles Dickens' famous Christmas story A Christmas Carol was adapted into a ballet in 1992 by composer Carl Davis. This story, in which the old man Scrooge changes overnight from a selfish person to a loving benefactor, is timeless.

The Dutch Don't Dance Division knows better than any other company in the world how to give this ballet its own character. Not a traditional British interpretation, but The Hague and Scheveningen from the beginning of the last century play an important role in A Christmas Carol. The great success from 2019 of choreographers Rinus Sprong and Thom Stuart finally returns after 3 years, in the brand new theater Amare in The Hague. The festive score by Carl Davis mixes classical music with traditional Christmas Carols, played by the Residentie Orkest. A winter production that will warm everyone's heart!
