The world famous pianist András Schiff may of course not be omitted from the World Master Pianists. It will be the first time he takes to the stage in Amare. Schiff is lauded around the world for his performances of the classical repertoire, such as the complete works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms.

Schiff has performed with numerous prominent orchestras and directors, but in recent years he has concentrated on music for solo piano and for concerts where he performs as conductor and/or soloist. His performances of Bach’s music are particularly renowned. In this recital he will personally and charmingly introduce the pieces on the programme.
