Op speelse wijze loodst regisseur Martin Hofstra cellisten Pepijn Meeuws en Emile Visser door deze beeldende en muzikale reis. Humor en ernst wisselen elkaar af tijdens en tussen het mooiste muzikale repertoire dat je je maar kunt bedenken. Van Middeleeuwse muziek tot jazz, van wereldmuziek tot rock. Een samenspel tussen klassieke en hedendaagse muziek op topniveau en vrije mime, gecombineerd met goochelarij, humor en poëzie. Oud laat zien en horen hoe krachtig je kunt zijn als je bent wie je bent: oud of jong, vies of schoon.
