In her autobiographical dance performance, Renaissance, Igone de Jongh shares her life story. We witness all the highs and lows, from the challenging route to success, through her glorious years at Het Nationale Ballet, to the more recent complex years in which, as she says, ‘life really became complicated’. 

The former star dancer has rediscovered herself, expressing her artistic freedom through five masterful choreographies that together form the symphony of her life. Combining video, personal notes, frank moments and amazing dance pieces, Igone takes the audience on a fascinating journey, supported by internationally acclaimed dancers. Be prepared to experience the passion of the pas de deux from Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet, while the breathtaking finale is performed by the world famous choreographer duo, Sacha and Simone.
