In the context of 125 years of city of peace & justice, Gemeente Den Haag and De Participatie Keuken join forces to organize a Peace Dinner in Amare for 125 residents of the city district Centrum/binnenstad. Enjoy a tasty meal and valuable conversations.

Food brings people together worldwide. When you enjoy a meal together, the encounter occurs automatically. Even if you do not speak each other's language or come from a different 'world'. You see the other and you are seen: loving and equal. 

In an ideal society, everyone participates. In reality, this is not possible for everyone. De Participatie Keuken wants everyone to feel welcome and participate. They transform neighborhood rooms, community centers or living rooms into meeting places where everyone is welcome.
