Block printing is an old technique in which you make patterns with special wooden blocks.
This has been used in India for a long time to print for example saris (Indian clothing) with
elegant patterns. Artist Akash Badal believes in the unique charm of this simple and slow
textile printing technique, according to him it always produces a unique and beautiful result.
It's like doing magic with paint and wood!

Deze workshop is voor kinderen vanaf 7 jaar, voorafgaand aan de voorstelling De fluisters van de geheime dans. De workshop is gratis voor kinderen die om 13:45 de bijbehorende voorstelling bezoeken. Reserveren is verplicht en kan tijdens het afrekenen van de tickets voor de voorstelling. 

Cloakroom and lockers  
Cloakroom is included in your ticket. You can also store your coat and bag in our lockers. You can find the lockers at the cloakroom. You do not need coins or a debit card. You can open and close your locker with a 4-digit code of your choice.
