Festival De Betovering

Each year during the Autumn Break, the international children’s art festival De Betovering takes place in The Hague. From October 25th till November 2nd, 2024, children up to 12 years old will be treated to some 300 performances and workshops at around 60 different locations.

The most enchanting children’s dance and theatre performances of both Dutch and international origin will be brought to The Hague for nine days of dazzling culture. Performances include theatre shows as well as dance, music, and film. Professional artists will guide workshops where children can try their hand at dance, music, filmmaking, painting, fashion, theatre, and much more. In a number of these workshops, participants will include a visit to a museum or gallery to look at the artwork there. Festival De Betovering is the result of a unique cooperation between a large number of cultural organizations in The Hague.

Eten & drinken

Lekkere trek tijdens je bezoek aan Festival De Betovering? Tussen 10:00 en 17:00 ben je van harte welkom bij Brasserie Amare voor een hapje & drankje. Vanaf 28 oktober kun je ook aanschuiven in de Stadskantine tussen 08:00 en 20:00. 

Toegankelijkheid

Tijdens Festival De Betovering is er een pop-up rustruimte gecreëerd waar kinderen die gevoelig zijn voor prikkels, zich even kunnen terugtrekken uit alle drukte. Deze bevindt zich bij Park 1 op de eerste etage.

Amare is geschikt voor mindervalide bezoekers. Naast roltrapvoorzieningen zijn er meerdere liften in het pand aanwezig en de zalen zijn rolstoelvriendelijk.
